What do cheddar, mozzarella and Romano cheeses all have in common? They’re baked to gooey perfection in Domino’s cheesy bread. Whether it’s the main event in your Domino’s order or a tasty snack before you dig into the pizza, this cheesy bread certainly stands out as a fast-food favorite. And we have good news: It’s so easy to make a copycat version of Domino’s cheesy bread at home.

Domino’s Cheesy Bread Ingredients

  • Refrigerated crusty French loaf
  • Shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • Butter
  • Shredded Romano cheese
  • Dried parsley flakes
  • Garlic powder

Directions

Step 1: Prep the dough

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Unroll the dough and pat it into a 14×12-inch rectangle.

Step 2: Sprinkle with cheese

Sprinkle the dough with 1-3/4 cups each of mozzarella and cheddar. The cheeses should be sprinkled lengthwise down the center of the dough for even coverage. Bring the edges of the dough together over the cheese filling and pinch a seam into the dough to seal it.

Step 3: Brush with butter

Gently pick up the filled dough and place the seam side down on a greased baking sheet. Brush the top of the dough with melted butter.

Step 4: Top the cheesy bread

In a small bowl, combine Romano cheese, parsley, garlic powder and the remaining 1/4 cup each of mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Sprinkle the mixture over the top of the dough.

Step 5: Bake and serve

Bake the cheesy bread until golden brown, about 20 to 25 minutes. Serve warm with dipping sauces on the side, if desired.

Domino’s Cheesy Bread Tips

How do you reheat Domino’s cheesy bread?

No one wants soggy, limp cheesy bread! To reheat our copycat Domino’s cheesy bread, follow the steps for how to reheat pizza. Preheat a baking sheet in your oven and then place the leftover cheesy bread on the hot sheet. Cook until heated through, about 10 minutes.

Can you use other cheeses in this recipe?

If you prefer the taste or consistencies of other cheeses, test them out in this cheesy bread recipe.

Experimenting with the cheeses in your homemade cheesy bread isn’t the only way to play around with this recipe. Follow Domino’s lead and chop up some feta and spinach to add to the filling, or go for a mix of bacon bits and diced jalapeno for a bit of heat.

What do you serve with Domino’s cheesy bread?

Don’t forget the dipping sauces! You want a sauce as flavorful as the bread for a balanced bite. Opt for a good homemade ranch dressing or a rich, herby butter recipe that you can melt as a dipping sauce. And, of course, you won’t go wrong with a bowl of zesty marinara for your cheesy bread.

Putting together a pizza night? Serve this copycat Domino’s cheesy bread alongside a bright side salad and one of our favorite pizza recipes, or get fancy with a pizza “charcuterie” board.
